My background was originally within the Freight Forwarding sector, working in exports, road freight around Heathrow. I found myself moving on into a job as Shipping Clerk for a manufacturing company (Astor Chemicals Ltd); checking Letters of Credit and ensuring all the shipping documents were accurate, I realised my job was including sections of accounts too. After various other jobs within Imports/Exports, my final employed role was at Purup-Eskofot and an excellent learning experience for my future career, where the Director and Accountant encouraged me to complete my AAT qualification.
After being made redundant I set off on my own and gained a few clients around Heathrow Airport within courier sector. I soon took on additional clients from other sectors, mainly Small Limited Companies which included Kitchen Designers, Sports Shops and Gym Clubs.
