The Class

Our maximum class size is Eight Students per class ensuring each student is always able to communicate with the tutor directly.

Our courses will run with two students + however we may need to change dates from time to time to ensure this.

The Tutor

Our tutors are all experienced in using accounting software and have an accounts qualification/practice experience.

Using our on-hands job experience we aim to include useful tips to help you creating your accounts in the real world.

After the Course

Classroom workshops include the course notes –  ensuring continual study after the course.

Our Courses include Two-month tutor email support after you have left the course

Software Books can be purchased at a discounted rate.

Students of full day course & Qualifications may apply for an NUS Student Card.

Certification

Each workshop includes a Certificate of Attendance to each student that completes the training.

These courses are in line with requirements of students studying AAT : ICB : IAB as well as accounts staff.  Students studying a qualification are advised to check with their exam centre which software they support.

Beginner

Full Details

Provides a basic understanding of using the software.

Suitable with no experience of accounting software.

Create the accounts; enter batch invoices/credit notes; raise a service invoice & the bank entries and more. Set up a password

Intermediate

Full Details

The Bank Reconcile; Journals; Prepayments & Accruals; bad debts; month end procedure; set password protection

Must have knowledge of Beginner course and a good understanding of accounts.

Advance

Full Details

Using Stock; Creating Purchase Orders; Quotations; Foreign Currency

Must already be able to use the software – Beginners and Advance with suitable accounts knowledge

Part Day Workshops

Sage 50c

These courses are built for Sage 50 software.  Courses focus on specific areas which are often under used on the software due to lack of knowledge

Courses are approximately 3 ½ hours – drinks provided

Credit Control

Learn how to use the Credit Control Facility – A mixture of using the Sage system and manual good practice

Year End & Good practice

Checking the control accounts; Year End closure; Clearing the audit trail and good accounting practice

VAT

How to check the VAT return; the VAT settings; learn how to manually check the information before submitting

CIS

Learn how to set up the CIS; prepare the submission and learn how to manually check the calculations.  Covers HMRC regulations.
